How long does it take to launch my business once I apply?
Most licensees are ready to launch within 6–8 weeks after signing their agreement, depending on territory approval and training schedule.
Do I need prior home inspection experience?
No. We provide comprehensive training in inspection techniques, reporting systems, and business operations so you can confidently run your business.
How do I know if my territory is available?
Simply check our Available Territories page or mention your preferred location during your inquiry. We’ll confirm availability during the discovery process.
What if my preferred territory is already taken?
We’ll work with you to identify nearby available areas with strong market potential. Remember, all territories are exclusive — meaning no overlap with other licensees.
What does the discovery call cover?
It’s a chance for us to learn more about your background and goals, while you learn about our systems, support, and what it takes to succeed as a licensee.
How much training is provided?
You’ll complete a structured training program that includes inspection methods, business management, marketing strategies, and access to ongoing resources in the Licensee Portal.
Can I keep my current job while I start this business?
Yes. Many licensees begin part-time and transition into full-time as their business grows. Our systems and support are designed to help you ramp up at your own pace.
How much does it cost to become a licensee?
The initial investment starts at $5,000 (or $3,500 for Veterans and First Responders). This covers your license, training, and startup support.
Do I need to handle my own marketing?
You’ll have access to ready-made marketing materials and lead generation strategies provided by Joe the Home Pro. You won’t have to figure it out on your own.
What happens after I launch my business?
You’ll continue to receive ongoing support, access to resources, and updates through the Licensee Portal — plus, our team is always here to guide you as you grow.
